📚A Day at the Farmer's Market
On Saturday morning, Emma went to a farmer’s market.
She wanted to buy some fruit, some vegetables, and some bread.
At the fruit stand, she said,"Wow, nice apples."
The farmer smiled and said," How many apples do you need? Red ones, green ones — take your pick!"
Emma chose an apple and a banana for her snack.
Then she asked,"How much orange juice do you sell?
"The farmer replied,"We sell orange juice by the bottle. Would you like some?"
Emma bought some orange juice and moved to the vegetable stand.
"Do you have any carrots?" she asked.
"Sorry, we don’t have any carrots today," said the seller.
"But we have some fresh tomatoes and some lettuce!"
She picked up a tomato and looked around. She needed some bread, too.
At the bakery stall, she asked, "How much is this bread?"
"Only two dollars for a loaf!" the baker said.
Finally, Emma bought a loaf of bread, some cheese, and some honey before going home.
It was an amazing morning — and now she had everything she needed for a fresh, healthy lunch!
