📚The Story: The Apartment Search

Anna has recently moved to the city for her new job and needs to find a place to live. She visits a local real estate office to speak with an agent, Mark, who shows her a few options.

👩Anna:"Hello, I'm looking for an apartment to rent. Can you help me?"

👨‍🦱Mark:"Of course! What kind of apartment are you looking for? Do you want something furnished or unfurnished?"

👩Anna:"I’d prefer a furnished apartment, if possible. Also, I’d like something close to work. How much is the rent for something like that?"

👨‍🦱Mark:"Well, for a furnished one-bedroom apartment, the rent would be about $1,200 per month. It's in a nice neighbourhood with cafes and parks nearby."

👩Anna:"That sounds good. Can you tell me more about the neighbourhood? Is it quiet?"

👨‍🦱Mark:"Yes, it’s a quiet area, but it’s also very central. There are good public transport connections, and the building is close to shops and restaurants."

👩Anna:"Sounds perfect. Are there any available now?"

👨‍🦱Mark:"We have one available next week, but it’s on the second floor. If that works for you, we can schedule a viewing."

👩Anna:"I think that will be fine. Let’s set up a time for the viewing."

👨‍🦱Mark:"Great! I’ll send you the details by email."
