🍿Dialogue - Let's Talk About Movie Vocabulary!

👩Emma: Hey Lila! Did you watch anything good lately?

👩‍🦱Lila: Yes! I finally watched “The Silent Code” last night. It was amazing!

👩Emma: Ooh, I saw the trailer! It looked like a thriller.

👩‍🦱Lila: It is! So intense. The plot had so many twists. And the cast? Brilliant.

👩Emma: I love a good thriller. Who directed it?

👩‍🦱Lila: A French director — Paul Lemaitre. You might not know him, but he’s getting really popular.

👩Emma: Nice. I usually go for comedies, though. I like to laugh when I relax.

👩‍🦱Lila: Fair! It’s not a movie, by the way — it’s a miniseries. Just four episodes. Kind of like one long movie, but split into parts.

👩Emma: Ohh, I see! That sounds good. I always get confused between movies and series.

👩‍🦱Lila: Me too sometimes. But this one’s short enough to binge-watch in a night!

👩Emma: Wow! I can’t binge-watch anymore. I always fall asleep.Did you watch it with subtitles?

👩‍🦱Lila: Yes, it’s in French, but the English subtitles were clear. I liked learning new words too!

👩Emma: You know what? Maybe I’ll give it a try tonight.

👩‍🦱Lila: Do it! Then we can talk about it tomorrow over lunch.
